I was the kind of kid who collected baseball cards, lived for summer, and sought out boyhood adventures with other neighborhood friends at every opportunity. From an early age, I knew I loved art. I loved creating new things. What opened my eyes to this love of artistic creation were comic books. I used to spend hours pouring over the different images and heroic storylines. Comic books took me to a new level within my imagination that opened up and explained to me how things like color, shape, story, and texture created something so vivid for people to feel and see.
